Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once both parties have agreed to the session date, time, package, and location. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on the day of the shoot. Sky High Snaps reserves the right to cancel or decline future bookings where payment is not completed as agreed.

Payments

Payment terms will be outlined at the time of booking. Deposits, where applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to complete payment may result in delayed delivery of galleries or cancellation of services.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If the Client needs to reschedule, reasonable notice is appreciated. Sky High Snaps will always attempt to accommodate rescheduling requests where possible. Deposits may be forfeited in the event of late cancellation or non-attendance. In the event of unsuitable weather, dangerous conditions, illness, equipment failure, or circumstances outside reasonable control, Sky High Snaps reserves the right to reschedule the session.

Weather & Lighting Conditions

The Client acknowledges that outdoor photography is influenced by weather, lighting, tides, crowds, and environmental conditions. Certain visual styles, colours, or examples seen online may only be achievable under specific weather or lighting conditions. Sky High Snaps will always aim to produce the highest quality images possible within the conditions available at the time of the shoot.

Editing Style

The Client acknowledges they have reviewed the Photographer’s portfolio and understand that final images will be edited in a style consistent with Sky High Snaps’ creative approach, including colour grading, tones, contrast, cropping, and overall artistic presentation.

Photography and editing styles can vary significantly between photographers. If the Client has a specific editing style, mood, colour tone, inspiration image, or visual look they would like replicated or closely matched, this must be clearly communicated at the time of booking, with example images provided prior to the session.

Sky High Snaps cannot guarantee replication of another photographer’s editing style, particularly where shooting conditions, weather, lighting, locations, or time of day differ from the reference examples provided.

Unless discussed prior to the session, creative control of editing remains with the Photographer. Additional re-editing requests outside the Photographer’s normal editing style may incur additional charges or may not be possible. Sky High Snaps does not provide unedited RAW/original files unless agreed in writing prior to the session.

Image Delivery

Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on workload and peak periods. Images are delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed. The Photographer is not responsible for downloading, backing up, or archiving images after delivery.

Copyright & Usage

All photographs and media created by Sky High Snaps remain the intellectual property and copyright of the Photographer. Clients are granted personal-use rights to downloaded images. Images may not be edited, filtered, altered, sold, submitted to publications, or used commercially without prior written permission. Commercial usage licensing may be arranged separately where required.

Model Release & Promotional Use

The Client acknowledges and agrees that photographs and video captured during the session may be used by Sky High Snaps for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, promotional, display, competition, publication, and general business marketing purposes.

This permission applies to all participants included in the session unless otherwise requested by the Client in writing prior to, or within a reasonable time following, the session.

Sky High Snaps agrees that images will never knowingly be used in a defamatory, inappropriate, misleading, or offensive manner.

If the Client would prefer certain images, individuals, children, locations, uniforms, branding, or identifying details not be publicly shared, the Client must notify Sky High Snaps in writing. Reasonable removal or non-use requests will always be respected where practical.

The Client acknowledges that images already published, shared, printed, submitted, or used in marketing material prior to any removal request may not always be capable of immediate or complete removal from all platforms or third-party services.

Children & Pets

The Client confirms they are the parent/legal guardian of any minors participating in the session or have authority to provide consent on their behalf. The safety and wellbeing of all participants, including pets, remains the responsibility of the Client during the session.

Drone Photography & Aviation

Where drone services are provided, all drone operations are subject to CASA regulations, weather conditions, airspace restrictions, safety assessments, and any required council or authority approvals.

The Client acknowledges that certain locations, particularly within controlled or restricted airspace, national parks, waterways, council-managed land, or special event areas, may require paid permits, approvals, traffic management, spotters, launch access, or aviation authorisations.

Any such additional costs, permit fees, approval charges, or operational expenses required to legally conduct the drone operations may be payable by the Client in addition to the agreed photoshoot price. These costs will be discussed where possible prior to the shoot.

Sky High Snaps reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel drone operations if conditions are unsafe, approvals are denied, or operations are otherwise legally restricted.

Limitation of Liability

While every reasonable care is taken, Sky High Snaps shall not be held liable for uncontrollable weather or environmental conditions, missed shots due to participant cooperation, venue restrictions, technical failures outside reasonable control, or delays caused by third parties.

In the unlikely event of total equipment failure, corruption, or circumstances preventing delivery, liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client.

Agreement

By proceeding with the booking or participating in the session, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
